PVS DIY Night Vision Module
Last updated: June 12, 2025
With two simple consumer electronic components, I, alongside two other university friends built a Night Vision monocular for fun. this is an available, open source project and we followed the existing schematics for wiring and assembly.
The components were resin printed and were really high quality. Done on a Creality Halo printer.
Components:
- V760 Displays 90-120 dollars, I went for model A-3.
- RunCam Night Eagle 3, 30 dollars.

Connect Every ground and 5V to a power supply, I used a female usb-c jack and connected black to black(or blue for display ground), alongside the white display wire and the white from the display. Green data from display with yellow data from camera. Blue signal high with 5v stream.
The camera also has two blue/white RX/TX connections for the button control (you can customize image settings with this, I put it on the side)
